Applying to be an artist for Magic: the Gathering was a dream come true. I remember the thrill of creating a piece that would be seen by millions of people around the world. The application process was rigorous, but it was also incredibly rewarding. I had to submit a portfolio of my work, as well as a cover letter and resume. I also had to create a sample card that showcased my skills. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Magic: the Gathering community. It’s been an amazing experience, and I’m excited to see what the future holds.

One of the most challenging parts of the application process was creating a sample card. I wanted to create something that was unique and memorable, but also something that would fit in with the existing Magic: the Gathering aesthetic. I spent a lot of time brainstorming ideas and sketching out different concepts. In the end, I decided to create a card that featured a group of adventurers exploring a dark and dangerous forest. I’m really proud of the way the card turned out, and I think it showcased my skills as an artist.
